How to set up Wolt TV on a MAG box (250, 254, 322, 324, 420w, 524, 540, 740)

MAG is the OG IPTV set-top box brand. Once configured, it just works — point it at our portal, restart, watch.

Where to find your credentials

Log in to your Wolt TV customer portal with the email you used at checkout. On the dashboard you'll see your active subscription with:

• M3U URL — used by most apps (TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, GSE Smart IPTV, Smart IPTV)
• Username + password — used by some Xtream-Codes-compatible apps
• MAC address — used by MAG / STB Emu boxes

Click the copy buttons next to each value. The links in this guide assume you have those handy.

1Step 1 of 5Power on and reach the system menu

From the MAG home screen, press SETUP (or SET on remote). Navigate to System settings.

If you see Servers in the menu list, you're on a model that uses portal-mode (250, 254, 322, 420w, 524, 540). All current MAGs do.

2Step 2 of 5Set the portal URL

Go to Servers → Portals.

Set Portal 1 URL to your portal URL from the Wolt TV customer portal.

Leave Portal 2 blank (or use it for a backup Wolt TV portal if you have one).

Press OK to save.

3Step 3 of 5Confirm the MAC is registered

The MAC of your MAG is printed on the back of the box (and shown in System settings → About). Copy that MAC into your Wolt TV customer portal — the subscription must be linked to this MAC.

If you set up the subscription with a different MAC, edit it in the customer portal: it provisions instantly to the panel.

4Step 4 of 5Reboot

From the system menu, Reboot Portal (or just unplug/plug the MAG). On boot, the MAG fetches the portal, authenticates by MAC, and loads channels. First load is 30-60 seconds.

5Step 5 of 5EPG and channel groups

EPG is included automatically on MAG portal flows. Channel groups (Sports, News, Movies, Kids…) appear on the left.

Press the EPG button on the remote for the program guide. Press MENU for picture-in-picture or recording (model-dependent).

Troubleshooting

• "Portal 1 not configured" / "No link to server" — your portal URL is mistyped or your MAG doesn't have internet. Double-check the URL char-by-char and run Network → Auto to confirm IP.
• "Loading…" forever — MAC not registered. Add the MAC to your Wolt TV subscription via the customer portal.
• Sound but no picture — usually a codec mismatch. System settings → Video → Auto detect → Save.

All MAG models (including older ones like 250) work with Wolt TV. If you have a clone box (e.g. Infomir-style but not actual MAG), STB Emu may be required instead — see the STB Emu guide.
