STB Emu emulates a MAG box on Android. Useful when you want to use the MAC-based authentication flow without owning a physical MAG.
Where to find your credentials
Log in to your Wolt TV customer portal with the email you used at checkout. On the dashboard you'll see your active subscription with:
- M3U URL — used by most apps (TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, GSE Smart IPTV, Smart IPTV)
- Username + password — used by some Xtream-Codes-compatible apps
- MAC address — used by MAG / STB Emu boxes
Click the copy buttons next to each value. The links in this guide assume you have those handy.
1Step 1 of 4Install STB Emu
On your Android box / phone / Fire TV, install STB Emu Free from the Google Play Store. The pro version (€2.99) removes ads and adds settings — both work for basic use.
2Step 2 of 4Configure the profile
Open STB Emu. Long-press the screen → Settings.
Go to Profiles → Test portal (or tap + to add a new one).
Fill in:
- Profile name — "Wolt TV"
- Portal URL — from your customer portal (note: this is the portal URL, ending typically with
/c/, not the panel admin URL — your customer portal shows the right one) - MAC address — STB Emu auto-generates one. Copy this MAC and add it to your Wolt TV subscription via the customer portal so the panel knows about it.
If you already have a MAC from your Wolt TV subscription, edit STB Emu's MAC field to match.
3Step 3 of 4Restart and load
Exit settings → Reload portal (or restart the app). The portal authenticates and shows the channel grid.
First load takes 1-2 minutes while STB Emu caches the channel list and EPG.
4Step 4 of 4Optional: switch screen modes
Long-press → Settings → Display → choose HD (1080p) or 4K (2160p) based on your screen.
Troubleshooting
- "Authorization failed" — MAC mismatch. Make sure the MAC in STB Emu matches the one registered with Wolt TV. From your customer portal, you can update the MAC anytime.
- Stuck on "Loading portal" — wrong portal URL. Use the URL labeled MAG / STB Emu portal in your customer portal, not the M3U URL.
- No EPG — open settings → EPG → Update EPG.
